Whatever happened to the guy who reminded us to wake him up when September ends? IT'S FREAKING NOVEMBER ALREADY! Can you believe it? Sometimes I really wish that time will pass by slower or harness the power of a magic clock that has way more hours compared to others. But you know what they say about wishes... They. Do. Come. True.

Haha! I was trying for the dramatic effect but I guess it didn't work. Anyhoo, this is my favorite month of the year and why so?

One of my favorite songs is "November Rain" by Guns N' Roses.
It's still Autumn. Even though we don't see much of it here.
Movember! Grow a 'stache to raise awareness, how cool is that?
Thanksgiving. Turkey anyone?
And of course, Black Friday! My favorite kind of black ;)

On top of that, this is also the month for employees to look forward to their end of year wage supplement and bonuses. Honestly speaking, the rest of the months in the calender is just MEH to me.

December - everywhere is crowded due to Christmas and the dreaded school holidays
January - no mood to work, still in holiday mood
February - Chinese New Year ushers in nosy relatives and too much calories (both equally lethal)
March to May - work! work! work!
June - Great Singapore Sale (commercialized leh) and the dreaded school holidays
July to October - work! work! work!

Red: months which you diedie also must stay at home

Blue: events which might work for you but not for me

Bold: events which you cannot escape no matter how hard you try

So if you are part of the working class which most of us is then you are basically screwed unless you love your job which I suppose a minority of us do. So do enjoy this month before you say NO to another year! :)
